Why Parent Training?
Parents are the most important people in the lives of their children. One of the greatest gifts parents can give to their child is the help he or she needs to communicate and connect with the world. During this training parents will learn practical and powerful strategies to help their children communicate and interact during daily routines and activities. It is during these familiar, real-life interactions with you the parent that the child’s communication skills will grow!
The It Takes Two to Talk Program is comprised of both group parent training, and individualized sessions with the parent and child. During the parent training’s parents will learn about various topics related to language development, during the individualized session video recording will be used to record the parent child interaction for feedback.
